Mary Jane Pickett (Watts, Shenefield)'s Obituary
Age 97, of Jackson, passed away in Chelsea, Michigan on October 28, 2019. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Earl; two daughters, Jill Watts (John Warren) and Sue (Ron) Butler; two step-children, Catherine (Marty) Kimball and Daniel E. (Terry) Pickett; four grandchildren, Larry (Casey) Dobie, Nicole Homer, Andrew Dobie and Amber Headley; four step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert Watts and Don Shenefield; her infant daughter, Ann J. Watts and her parents, Lafe and Hanna E. (maiden-Barnes) Bates. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and playing bingo. Mrs. Pickett has been cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at Roseland Memorial Gardens Chapel on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 1 pm with Pastor Dave Cornwell officiating. Interment to follow. Contributions in her memory are directed to Alzheimer's Association.
