Mary Jane Plumb's Obituary
Age 78, of Leoni Township, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. Mary was born July 23, 1943 in Jackson, the daughter of Lloyd E. and Lucille M. (Crafts) Plumb. After graduating from business school, Mary went on to have a career as a case worker with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
Mary is survived by her sister, Alma Smith-Newbill and brother, Ed Plumb; both of Leoni Township; five nieces and their families, Judy (Tom) Keyes, Donna (Jim) Stephens, Cindy Stahlecker (Gary Todd), Karen Mays and Laura (Matt) Grimes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Lucille; and her brother-in-law, Donald Smith.
Mary enjoyed gardening and loved animals.
A funeral service to honor Mary's life will be held at The Refuge Bible Church, 2155 S. Portage Road, Jackson, MI 49201 on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Noon. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 11:00 am and a luncheon will immediately follow the services. Burial at Maxon Cemetery in Leoni Township will follow the luncheon.
