Mary Lou Sweeton's Obituary
Mary Lou Sweeton, 73, of Manchester passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022. She was born on June 7, 1948 in Delton, Michigan to Richard and Thelma (Kowalski) Reitler. Mary Lou was one of five children. She graduated from Nazareth College, Kalamazoo as a registered nurse, working in hospitals in Washtenaw County. Mary Lou retired from Jackson Prison. She loved animals, especially her dog, Myles. Mary Lou enjoyed nature, having planted many trees that she saw grow to maturity on her property.
Mary Lou will be missed by her children, David (Rebecca) Sweeton, Karly Olson; her mother, Thelma; three sisters; two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Reitler, and one brother.
