Mary Ann Swiatlowski, 89, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Mary Ann’s family and friends will gather Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, with Rosary at 7:00 pm, at Eineder Read Obituary
I have known Mary Ann for only a short time, but she made me feel that we had known each other our whole lives - an odd thing to say because I had to look through the Parish Directory to find her "Last Name"! After spending my whole life in a large 'city parish', joining St. Rita's was a tremendous blessing as well as (literally) a breath of fresh air.
Everybody was so friendly and so welcoming, and as I said, Mary Ann made me feel that I was not only welcome, but someone she had known forever as a valued member of the parish she loved. She wore her love for God (as they say) "on her sleeve" and though I didn't know her last name (some people are very slow learners!) - and - I didn't want to ask her umteen times, I won't ever forget her! God bless all of you - the family she loved so dearly - and may He hug each and every one of you every time you think of Mary Ann, and even when you forget to! In His Love, Rosemary (Rosie) Gough
