Mary Catherine Sword's Obituary
Mary Catherine Sword, 63, from Jackson, MI, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Henry Ford Hospital - Jackson. Mary’s family and friends will gather from10:00 a.m. – 11:00 am., Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel and her funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Michael D. Mason will serve as celebrant. Interment to follow directly after services at Waldron Cemetery in Wright Township, Michigan.
She was born on December 12, 1961, in Jackson, Michigan to Ralph and Delphia (Hills) Gialanella. Mary met the love of her life, Jan Woelders and they were planning to marry until his untimely death in 1992. She will be remembered as a loving and giving mother and grandmother who found great joy in spending time with her family.
Mary will be missed by her children, Matt (Kiersten) Woelders, Ashley Woelders, Jon Woelders; bonus children Jonathon Hulbert and James and Amanda Tucker; many beloved grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and several other relatives, and her best friend Jessie Foster. She is preceded in death by the love of her life Jan Woelders her parents, Ralph and Delphia and her siblings.
