Mary K. Taulbee's Obituary
TAULBEE, MARY K. Age 75, of Michigan Center, passed away at Allegiance Health, Saturday, April 27, 2013. Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Manny; three children, Ted (Myra) Watkins, Marcy (Dave) Hartung and Scott McTaggart (Anna); Manny's children, Jeanette (Tom) Jeffreys, Margaret (Gary) Brandimore, Donna (Richard) Haglund and Casey (Lisa) Taulbee; grandchildren, Jonathon, Justin, Jill, Nicholl, Rachel, Alex, Sam, Josh, Christine, Jennifer, Steven and Brittany; several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert MacDonald and a sister, Jacquelyn Smith. For many years, Mary was the owner and operator of Mary's Bakery and Restaurant in downtown Brooklyn and retired as secretary for Whittaker & Gooding Trucking. Her warm and caring demeanor was seen by each of her restaurant patrons and the many who called her friend. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. As was her request, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 11:00 am. Her family will greet friends from 10:00 am until service time.
