Meredia ""Rita"" Browning (maiden-Webb)'s Obituary
Age 71, of Jackson, passed away at the University of Michigan Hospital October 8, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald Browning, three children, Annette (Louis) Mendez, Parasitia ""Penny"" (Richard) Darnell and Vanessa (Clyde Settle) Browning, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two sisters, four brothers and many cousins, nephews and nieces. She was a long time cook at local restaurants and owned and operated Rita's Restaurant in Jackson for many years. She was a former volunteer at Allegiance Health and Hospice and a former member of the Michigan Center Eagles Aerie #3634 Ladies Auxiliary. Visitation for her local family and friends will be held at the funeral home Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 6-8 pm. She will then be transported to the Creech Funeral Home in Middlesboro, KY for services and burial there.
