Michael D. French's Obituary
French, Michael D. Age 59, of Jackson, passed away at CareLink February 15, 2014. He is survived by his two sons, Brad (Jennifer Reese) French and Connor French, six brothers, Gary (Cherie), Larry, Leonard, Lance, Scott (Michelle) and Jason (Patty) French, special nephews, Zach and Nick French, step-mother, Carol French, special friends, Kerry Hixon and Gary King, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Shirley French. Mike was a skilled welder, working many years at various local shops and Michigan International Speedway, was a NASCAR Certified Wall Repairman, played softball, was an avid bowler and loved Detroit sports teams. Mr. French has been cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, 6-8 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the East Jackson Athletic Boosters or the Greater Jackson U.S. Bowling Congress.
