Michael Allen Leigh's Obituary
Michael Allen Leigh, 79, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away February 12, 2025. Michael’s family and friends will gather 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Monday, February 24, 2025 at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel. His funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Michael was born on June 29, 1945, in Jackson, Michigan to Frank Eugene and Margaret (McFee) Leigh. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Michael worked for the prison for 22 years where he retired early and spent his time with family, golfing and playing tennis. Mike loved scratch off lottery tickets and to play power ball numbers often.
Michael is survived by his sons Scott Leigh and Jonathan Green, daughter, Kim (Gary) Green Thomas; brother, Henry (Helen) Leigh, sisters, Barbra (Tony) Davis and Patty Jarvis; his grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Katherine, parents Frank and Margaret Leigh, brother, Stuart Leigh and grandson, Christopher Green.
