Michael V. Nickerson's Obituary
Michael Vernon Nickerson, age 72, passed away at his home in Manchester on October 31, 2021. He was born September 17, 1949 to William V. and Catherine H.( Lustila) Nickerson in Newberry, MI. He married Terry Gail Hough on May 24, 1969 at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Manchester. Mike was a member of the Cement Mason Union Local #14 (Ann Arbor Area). He will be remembered for his love of the Upper Peninsula, hunting, and his endless devotion to his granddaughter, Megan.
Mike is survived by his wife of 52 years, Terry; a daughter Tracy (Erik) Patterson of Manchester; granddaughter, Megan Patterson; two brothers, Robert (Helen) Nickerson; Phillip Nickerson; two sisters, Penny (James) Wilde; Lori (Jeffrey) Gauss; mother-in-law, Doris Hough; brother-in-law, Russell (Kim) Hough; sister-in-law, Linda Hough and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Muggins Hough and brother-in-law, Gordon Hough.
