Michael Ben Ruede's Obituary
Age 71, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph T. and Patricia J. (Overmyer) Ruede; twin brother, Patrick Ruede and sisters, Irene Russell and Noreen Gilbert. Mike is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anna B.; son, Michael Ben (Lura) Ruede of Traverse City and daughter, Jill (John) Clouser of Concord; grandchildren, Johnathan and Jessica Clouser; siblings, Georgene Arcaro of Vandercook Lake, Glen (Rhonda) Ruede of Concord; Thomas Ruede of North Carolina and Joseph Ruede of South Carolina; brother-in-law, Tom Russell; sister-in-law, Sue (Dave) Colliau; good friend, Tim McCann of Jackson; many nieces and nephews. He was a Navy Veteran, serving in Vietnam. Upon his return to Jackson, Mike began a career of 41 dedicated years with the Eaton Corporation before retiring. He was a former longtime member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and was a member of the American Legion. Services to honor Mike's life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11:00 am with Father Tim MacDonald officiating. Interment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens with Military Honors courtesy of the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 pm. Mike's family would like to thank the staff at the JCMCF for the loving care that was given to him during his stay at the facility.
