Michael Adam Serafin's Obituary
Age 65, of Blackman Township, passed away at his home earlier this month. He was born August 1, 1951 in Jackson, Michigan. He was active in the East Jackson High School Band and was valedictorian of the EJHS class of 1969. He earned a Bachelor Degree in Communications at Michigan State University, served the nation in the Michigan National Guard and worked for many years in the family business. He was a gifted musician and long time bass guitarist with the Serafin Brothers Three plus Two Dance Band. He is survived by one brother, Robert Edward Serafin, three sisters, Anne Louise Serafin, Beth Eileen (Charlie) Uhl and Jean Marie Serafin, two nephews and four nieces. He was preceded in death by his younger brother Christopher Paul Serafin and his parents, Adam Edward and Margaret Louise (St John) Serafin. Mr. Serafin has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
