Michaelene Josephine Blacha, 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. She was born on September 22, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan to Mitchell and Helen (Kraszewski) Witkowski. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor. Micki loved to make people laugh and encouraged others to do so, her two nieces are Stand Up Comedians. She was a great cook, loved all music and life, especially her granddaughters. Micki’s passion was working with the handicap, which she did for many years. She truly loved her family and will greatly be missed by all.
Micki is survived by her daughter, Umeko (Michael) Hasegawa; brother, Anthony (Maria) Witkowski; grandchildren Myla and Rowan Hasegawa; nieces and nephews, Edsel, Edgar, Brian, Laura, D’Anne, Christine and Amanda. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Dr. Michael Witkowski.
