Michelle Marie Matherson's Obituary
Michelle “Chelle” Marie Matherson, 34, passed away at U of M Cardio Vascular Center, surrounded by her loved ones on January 2, 2026. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Interment will follow in New Castle, Indiana.
Michelle was born on November 11, 1991 to Pam Matherson. She attended Michigan Center schools and attended the Career Center studying Horticulture. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, niece and mother. Michelle loved art and coloring pictures with her daughter Hazel.
Michelle will be greatly missed by her daughter, Hazel; her uncle Michael (Colleen) Matherson and several cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother, Pam; grandparents, Malcolm and Mary Matherson; and her cousin, Robert Michael Crull.
