Nancy Ann Catherine Bartell's Obituary
Nancy Ann Catherine Bartell, 87, of Jackson, MI, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Nancy’s family and friends will gather from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel. Her funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Chris Bigg will officiate. Interment will follow at Leoni Cemetery.
Nancy was born on June 18, 1938, in Jackson, MI, to Louis and Maude (Sponsler) Pickell. She graduated from Michigan Center High School in 1956. Nancy enjoyed sewing and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. She was a long-time member of the Clinton Road Bible Baptist Church. Nancy’s faith was very important to her. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved hugs and who’s smile could light up the room. She will sorely be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy will be missed by her children, Tammy (Dan) Trader, Sue Raschke and Jennifer (Kip) Doyle; her sister, Sue (Stew) Phillips; her grandchildren, Sean (Brandi) Fowler, Sanova Burton and Conor Doyle; her great grandchildren, Bryce Fowler and Kynslee Fowler; her son-in-law, Tim Fowler; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Maude; her brothers, Jim and John; her grandson, Brian; and her special friend, Jack.
