Neal Frederick "Rick" Wiesner's Obituary
Neal Fredrick “Rick” Wiesner, age 61, of Brooklyn, Michigan, passed away suddenly at his home on June 20, 2022 . He was born April 18, 1961, in Detroit Michigan to Robert and Shirley (Stacy) Wiesner who preceded him in death. He is survived by his seven siblings, John (Susan) Wiesner, Robert (Carol) Wiesner, Steven (Donna) Wiesner, Julie (Bob) Tomsic, Jane Wiesner, Michael (Virginia) Wiesner, and Charles Wiesner. He has eleven nieces and nephews. He graduated from Chelsea High School in 1979. Soon after he entered the Navy, and was assigned to the USS Coral Sea. After enlistment, he sought after a degree as an electrical journeyman, and became a member of IBEW 252 in Ann Arbor. One of his accomplishments was to lay a record number of linear feet of electrical wiring for the Pfizer Building in Ann Arbor. He loved fishing, snowmobiling, and camping, and had all the toys to play in the great outdoors. He retired in December 2021, which he enjoyed very much, and was never separated from his beloved Weimaraner, Jena.
The Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 am on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Old St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 5671 Whitmore Lake Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. Internment is at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Baker Road immediately following the service.
