Norman Joseph Heim's Obituary
Norman Joseph Heim, 76, of Napoleon, Michigan, was taken unexpectedly on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Norman’s family and friends will gather from 4:00–7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026 followed by a Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge of Sorrows at 7:00 p.m. at Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel. Additional gathering will take place from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026; funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel. Burial to take place at Oak Grove Cemetery with military honors.
He was born on March 13, 1949, in Tecumseh, Michigan to Warren Arthur and Josephine Carrol (Patrick) Heim. Norman graduated from Napoleon High School in 1968. He served as a Sargent in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for over 40 years and enjoyed driving anything he could, whether that be trucks, motorcycles, or tractors. Norman had a good sense of humor and enjoyed shooting pool and darts. He was also a longtime member of the Michigan Center Eagles #3634. Norman was an amazing dad to his four daughters. He will be remembered as a wonderful dad and friend.
Norman will be missed by his children, Pamela Heim, Sheila (Steven) Mezo, Brandy (Michael) St. John, and Amber (James) Tompos; siblings, Pat (Jim) Leeke, Betty Jo (Jerry) Shelton, Damian (Becky) Heim, and Tim Heim; 10 grandchildren; multiple great grandchildren; and good friend Marty Hawley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Josephine Heim.
