Norman Duane O'Dell's Obituary
O'Dell, Norman Duane, age 91, of Jackson, passed away July 30, 2014 at Allegiance Health. He is survived by three sons, Terry (Gail) O'Dell, Kristin O'Dell and Kelly (Rise) O'Dell, four grandchildren, Maureen (Rich) Farrell, Patrick (Brandy Belcher) O'Dell, Shawn and Tim O'Dell, two great-grandchildren, Margaret Anne and Thomas Farrell and his special friend, Betty Gauze. He was preceded in death by his son Jim, parents Harry and Gladys (maiden Enos) O'Dell and 3 siblings. Norman served the nation in the US Navy in World War II and Korea, was a long time printer/linotype operator for the Cit Pat and other local printing firms and loved to go the Crouch Senior Citizen Center. Mr. O'Dell has been cremated. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at the New Horizons Community Church of God (4300 Lansing Ave., Jackson, MI 49201) on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 1 pm with Pastors Jerry Lyon and Doug Bilby officiating. The family wants to give special thanks to the John George Home, 1501 Ganson Street, Jackson, MI 49201) for their wonderful care and direct any memorial contributions to them.
