Norman Wesley Zuke's Obituary
Norman Wesley Zuke, age 82, of Michigan Center, passed away at Allegiance Health December 29, 2013. He is survived by his step-children, Harry (Betty) Spence, Lonnie (Margie) Spence, Anita Chapman, Teresa (Steven Raver), many grandchildren, two brothers, Jim (Roberta) Zuke and Gerald Zuke, three sisters, Myrtle, Margaret and Roberta, and his son, Kenton (Anita) Zuke. He was preceded in death by his wife and partner in Christ, Grace Schlaegel. Norman retired from Thorrez Industries after 22 years service, was a gifted craftsman making outdoor furniture and accessories and currently worked on the custodial staff of his church, Sandstone Congregational (250 South Sandstone Road) where a Memorial Service Celebrating his life will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11 am with Rev. Brad Smith officiating. His cremains will be interred next to his beloved in the South Jackson Community Church Cemetery at a later date. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Church.
