Nyann Marie Ray's Obituary
Age 62, of Leoni Township, passed away at home under the loving care of her family and Heartland Hospice. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ralph E. Ray, two children, Scott (Susan) Ray and Marlene (Matthew) Steen, two grandchildren, Brent and Missy Ousley, one sister, Althea (Pete) Shanks, several nephews, nieces, brothers -in -law and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lorraine (Straub) Shanks, brothers, Carl M., Jacob L., Marlin K. and Danny M. Shanks, sisters, Marlene A Manning and Georgianna 'Todd' Bristow. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, December 8, 2016 at noon with Rev. Rod Walker, Harmony Baptist Church, officiating. Interment Maxon Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. The family wishes to thank the Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care of our loved one and direct any Memorial Contributions to that organization.
