Olga Walz's Obituary
Olga Walz, 90, of Brooklyn (formerly of Manchester) passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 28, 2024. Olga’s graveside service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Norvell Cemetery in Norvell, Michigan. Rev. Dr. Eugene Blair will serve as celebrant.
Olga was born on December 10, 1934, in Albion, Michigan to Peter and Anna (Guncovich) Mitchell. Olga married the love of her life, Norman Oscar Walz on August 10, 1957, at the Russian Orthodox Church in Albion, Michigan. She lived on a lake and greatly enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. She also loved to read and do puzzles. Olga loved to travel and spend time with family. She will be remembered as an exceptional grandmother who was always there for her family.
Olga will be missed by her children, Jeri Feeman-Veldhoff and Steve Walz; grandchildren Jennifer Feeman, Dennis Feeman, and Jessica Poniatowski, great grandchildren Peyton, Caley, Jacy, Jesse, and Iyla. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Norman Oscar Walz and son-in-law Bret Veldhoff.
