Onalee L. 'Diz' Howard's Obituary
Age 81, of Michigan Center, passed away at her home December 21, 2015 under the loving care of her family and Allegiance Hospice. She is survived by two daughters, Kim (Mike) Chesney and Alyson Wolvin, six grandchildren, Dani and Steve Ankney, Matthew (Sarah) and Chelsea Chesney, Nicole Wolvin and Scott Wolvin Jr., seven great-grandchildren and her beloved Yipping Yorkie mix, Rascal. She was preceded in death by her husband Philip, daughter Candy Ankney, brother Ed Disley and parents, Norman and Wanda (maiden-Miller) Disley. Onalee was a graduate of the Foote Hospital School of Nursing and retired after a career at Doctors Hospital (formerly Osteopathic Hospital), Jackson. She was a generous and loving woman who cared for her family, enjoyed casino trips, lunches and card games with friends and was an avid Tiger Baseball Fan. Mrs. Howard has been cremated. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at the funeral home Monday, December 28, 2015 at 4 pm with Pastor Phil Stout officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. She will be interred next to her husband in Roseland Memorial Gardens. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Allegiance Hospice or the Cascades Humane Society.
