Oscar Jason Mees Jr's Obituary
Oscar Jason Mees, Jr., 97, of Clarklake, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at home under the care of Henry Ford Health Hospice. A private family service was held at Eineder Funeral Home -Brooklyn Chapel.
He was born on September 9, 1927 in Jackson, Michigan to Oscar and Cicely (Barcalow) Mees. Oscar married the love of his life, the late Jessie Buck on November 25, 1950, in Jackson, Michigan. They had 67 wonderful years together until her passing in 2018. He will be remembered as a hard-working man. Oscar proudly served his country in the United States Armed Forces during World War II. He was employed at Macklow-Bendix as a machine operator, retiring after many years. Oscar was a farm boy by nature, he enjoyed working with machinery. During his spare time to relax, he enjoyed chopping wood for the wood stove. That was a chore he grew up doing and continued as long as possible. He enjoyed working with his hands and took pride in being a handy man.
Oscar is survived by his children, Terry, Randy (Karyn) and Laura (Joe); a sister, Celia Klotz; two grandchildren Kandi and Shane (Amanda); three great grandchildren Triston, Londyn and Conner. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jessie and a son, Gary.
