Pamela Audrey Dunham's Obituary
Pamela Audrey Dunham, 78, from Cement City, MI, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility. Pamela’s family and friends will gather from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel. Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to immediately follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Napoleon. Pastor Ned Bernstein, of Norvell Baptist Church to officiate.
Pamela was born on May 7, 1946, in Jackson, MI, to John and Audrey (Brown) Dunham. She graduated from Cement City High School in 1965. Pamela worked at American 1 Credit Union for over 20 years in the collection department. The last department she worked in was the credit and collection assignment, until she retired in 2010. Pamela spent her retirement dedicating her time to numerous organizations, including Big Brothers & Sisters, Cascade Civilian Club and Credit Women International. She also took care of her parents as their health diminished. Pamela went to Cement City Baptist Church all her life. She enjoyed collecting recipes and sharing them with her family. Pamela was passionate about cats and was known as the “the cat lady” by many. She took in cats that had been abandoned and gave them shelter, food, water and love.
Pamela will be missed by her nephew, Michael (Rena) Dunham; her great nephews, Owain Dunham and Brycen Dunham; her great cousin, Amy (Scott) Schuster; and the whole Baumgras Family. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Dunham.
