Pamela A. Matherson's Obituary
Age 69, of Jackson, formerly of Leoni Township, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and under the care of Elara Caring Hospice on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Pam is survived by her beloved daughter, Michelle M. Matherson of Jackson; adored granddaughter, Hazel Matherson of Jackson; brother, Mike (Colleen) Matherson of Jackson; brother, David Lee Matherson of Texas; many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm James Lee Matherson and Mary Maxine (Evans) Matherson. Pam worked as a quality control inspector with Pilot Industries and then went on to work with the Michigan Center Public Schools in Food Services and the Teen Scene Program. She loved time spent with her family and truly enjoyed the time spent working with the students at the school. Cremation has taken place and no public services will be held. Her ashes will be interred at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery in New Castle, Indiana at a later date. For those who wish, contributions in Pam's memory to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
