Parl George Holmes' Obituary
Age 68, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Sandra K. (Libey) Holmes; brother, Reginald Holmes; sister, Irene (Ernie) Taylor; several nieces, nephews, family members and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George R. and Barbara (Hale) Holmes; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon (Richard) Lasky and sister-in-law, Jeanie Holmes. Parl had worked at the Charles Hamp Dairy Farms, Baldwin Onion Farms, Jackson Plumbing & Heating and was currently employed at Gallup-Kendall Plumbing Supply with 23 years of service. He enjoyed his job, gardening and long walks. Parl could make a bad day go away with his smile and sense of humor. Due to Covid-19, there will be no services at this time. Contributions in his memory to your local food pantry or first responder police or fire department would be appreciated.
