Patricia A. Guarino's Obituary
Patricia Anne Guarino, 76, of Jerome, Michigan passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Patricia’s family and friends will gather 3:00PM – 6:00PM, on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel; with a Scripture Service being held at 6:00PM. There will be a Memorial Mass held in the spring at St. Rita Catholic Church, date and times will be announced.
She was born on September 26, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan to Gordon Albert and Mildred Virginia (McArthur) Schmidt. Patricia graduated from Redford High School in Detroit, Michigan in 1967 and from Eastern Michigan University in 1972. She married the love of her life, Timothy Steven Guarino, on January 23, 1981, in Ionia, Michigan. Patricia worked for AAA Auto Insurance for many years serving in multiple different management roles. She loved to read and enjoyed traveling both in the states and overseas. Patricia had a heart for animals and always owned a dog or two. She loved to spend time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. Patricia will be remembered as a thoughtful person and a wonderful wife and mother.
Patricia will be missed by her husband, Timothy Steven Guarino; her children, Leah Guarino, Anthony Guarino, and Elizabeth (Mark) Guarino-Kozlowicz; sister, Karen Whorley; grandchildren Amelia, Alex, Isabella, Sam, and Eleanor; and cousin Randy Schmidt. She is preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Mildred Schmidt.
