Patricia Ann Johnson's Obituary
Patricia Ann Johnson, Age 71, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023. Patricia’s family and friends will gather for Visitation on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life following at 12:00 p.m. at Village Hope Church, 123 W. Porter Street, Jackson, Michigan.
Patricia was born on July 31, 1952, in LaPorte, Indiana to William and Virginia (Arnett) Rice. Patricia was a long-time waitress at Napoleon Café where she would meet a stranger and they would leave as her friend. She loved everything about waitressing. She was always telling jokes and making everyone laugh. Patricia was the true life of the party. She also cared deeply about everyone she knew, especially her sons. Her entire world revolved around them and making sure they grew up happy. Patricia did not have one selfish bone in her body, it made her happy to see everyone she knew happy and smiling. Whether it was from a joke she told, or a personalized gift, Patricia always put everyone’s happiness before her own.
Patricia will be missed by her children, Troy (Nicole) Allen and Lyle (Denise) Johnson; siblings, Cathy Rosecrans of Clark Lake, Garland Rice of Napoleon and Rick Rice of Grand Rapids, grandchildren; Sophia Allen, Cash Allen, Niko Johnson and Athena Johnson and close cousin Debbie Bragg. She is preceded in death by her parents.
