Patricia Irene Kleyn's Obituary
Patricia Irene Kleyn, 84, from Jackson, MI, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at her home. Patricia’s family and friends will gather from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel. A private family time will take place with a graveside committal service at Woodland Cemetery in Jackson, MI.
She was born on November 18, 1940, in Jackson, MI, to Frederick and Leah (Lutz) Kleyn. Patricia graduated from Jackson High School in 1957. She spent her career, of 42 years, as an operator/linesman in telecommunications at Michigan Bell. In all those years, Patricia only took 2 days off of work, which she was awarded perfect attendance for. She loved racing motorcycles, cross country racing and playing softball in her younger years. Patricia was a dare devil, who loved doing everything that she “shouldn’t do”, which led to many injuries throughout her years. She was known for her determination, independence and “I can do anything” attitude. Patricia lived a full life of excitement and adventure. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Patricia will be missed by her daughter, Wendy Lentz; her grandchildren, Dakotah (Lilly) Lentz, Dylan Lentz, Corrin (Brett) Ridley and Devin Ridley; her great grandchildren, Allula Lentz, Walker Miller and Brynn Miller; and several close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Leah; her brothers, Frederick and Richard; her children, Arthur Lentz and Amy Woodward; and her grandson, Hunter Lentz.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family for helping with the funeral cost. Please leave a message of comfort for Patricia’s family or sign her guestbook at www.EinederFuneralHomes.com.
