Patricia Helen Krauss, 76, passed away holding her daughter’s hand on February 13, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 4, 1944, in Newark, New Jersey to Frank Louis Freyer and Phyllis (Emerson) Freyer. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patricia loved reading (especially detective novels) and her time at the casino. She served her community as a corrections officer for nearly 20 years in Michigan. Patricia enjoyed Fox News and Donald Trump. Friends and family will remember her as “sassy, classy and a bit ‘smart alecky’”.
Patricia will be missed by her children, Cynthia (Mark) Stanaway; Russell (Naree) Krauss Jr., and Frank Krauss; siblings Robert (Eydie) Freyer; Carol (Steve) Briseno; Frank (Pamela) Freyer Jr.; Mary (Dave) Dege; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter Lori Krauss; a brother, Kurt Freyer and both her parents.
