Patricia R. Lamb's Obituary
Of Ackerson Lake, was called to the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2015 after a sudden onset of Acute Leukemia. She had a wonderful 82 years of life, with 63 of them spent at the Lake. She cherished the closeness of her family and all of the great times they had together. She commented often on how lucky she was to have her three children and their families close by and always there for her. Pat enjoyed her flowers, gardening, feeding/watching her birds and pontoon rides. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck; son, David and best friend, Barb Blair; all of whom she looks forward to seeing again. Pat leaves behind sons, Richard (Billie) Lamb and Bob (Laura) Lamb; daughter, Linda (Steve) Shong; grandchildren, Tim & Andy Lamb, Kalie & Nathan Lamb, Chelsea (Ethan) Phillips; great-grandchild, Cruz Phillips; her significant other, Ken Richardson; siblings, Donald Warner and Joanne Schilling; and her canine child, Tasha. Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 11:00 am with Pastor Byron Maynard officiating. Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. For those who wish, contributions in Pat's memory to New Hope Missionary Church or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Her family would like give thanks to the staff at the Allegiance Hospice Home for the wonderful care extended to their mother.
