Patricia Joyce Rahn's Obituary
Age 70, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health due to complications of Covid pneumonia. Patty is survived by her beloved soul mate and husband of 45 years, Thomas M. Rahn; daughter, Barb (J.T.) Terry of Florida and their children, Tiffany and Donovan; son, Michael (Heather) Rahn of Jackson and their children, Heidi and James; her great-grandson, Malakai; sister and best friend, Lisa (Matt) Flannigan; brothers, Matt (Glenda) Harwood, Robert (Penny) Harwood and Tony (Theresa) Harwood; sister-in-law, Rosie Harwood; many nieces and nephews and her treasured feline friend, Princess. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenny Harwood.
Patty was born June 23, 1950 in Detroit to Kenneth L. and Margaret K. (Pipesh) Harwood. She was a 1968 graduate of Napoleon High School. She worked many years at Airmaster Fan and then retired from ABC Academy where she was a child care provider. Patty loved decorating and baking cakes. She enjoyed crafting with her sister, time spent on the dune buggy and travel, especially on her motorcycle. Patty and Tom logged thousands of miles around the state and country on their motorcycles. She will be missed by many as she touched the hearts of all that knew her.
She was life members of both ABATE of Michigan (American Bikers Aiming Toward Education) and AMA (American Motorcycle Association); was a member of MRF (Motorcycle Riders Foundation) and COC (Confederation of Clubs.)
Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering to honor Patty's life will be held at a later date.
