Paul Albert Hammond's Obituary
Age 71, of Michigan Center, passed away at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home Sunday, June 2, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 39 years; Esteline (Staton), two children; Michelle Hammond-Arvanitis and Timothy Hammond, grandson; Colton, sister; Ruth Hammond, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother; Roger Hammond and his parents; Albert and Edna (Wright) Hammond. Paul served the nation in the US Air Force, had worked at Clark Equipment and Jackson Precision Industries. He enjoyed the great north of Michigan, fishing, a good conversation and being outdoors. Services will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home, Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 11 am with HFH Chaplain Bart Hall officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the American Cancer Society. The family wishes to thank the caring staff of the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home for their compassion and excellent service.
