Phillip Jennings' Obituary
Phillip Jennings, 66, passed away at Henry Ford- Jackson Hospital on Thursday, December 7, 2023. Phillip’s family and friends will gather on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 10:00AM- 11:00AM at Apostolic Tabernacle (1249 Ambs Drive, Jackson, MI 49203) His funeral service will follow at 11:00AM. Pastor Bass will officiate.
Phillip was born on August 24, 1957, at Foot Hospital, in Jackson, Michigan to David and Viola (Hayball) Jennings. Phillip was a graduate of Vandercook High School and worked for Libra for 31 years before retiring. He will be remembered as a lover of baseball and football; he was an avid Detroit Tigers and Lions fan. Some other hobbies of Phillip’s included playing bingo and fishing. He was known as a bit of a homebody, but he loved family get togethers. He hung around a lot with his nephew Dave. They would work on all sorts of projects together.
Phillip will be missed by his siblings, Gary (Nancy) Jennings, David (Judy) Jennings, Michael Jennings, and brother-in-law Jack Maxon; 11 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and his cousin Roger Brooks. He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Viola and his sister Dorothy.
