Phillip Wayne Swihart III, 43, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away at home February 7, 2026. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Phil was born on November 7, 1982, in Jackson, Michigan to Phillip Jr. Swihart. Phil married the love of his life, Laura Ann, on October 14, 2025, in Jackson, Michigan at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband and father. Phil was a mechanic by trade and loved being a home body. He was a great artist and designed tattoos. Diamond art, puzzles and dominos and hosting family game night on Saturdays were some of his favorite pass times, however spending time with family were his most treasured times. He loved all genres of music and Lori’s Lasagna and spaghetti.
Phil will be missed by his loving wife, Laura “Lori”; two children, Kameron and Amity; niece, Katelyn; cousin and best friend, Tra; Uncle Brian; Church Elders, Pruess and Bennett; dear friends, Brother Bruce and Sister Chris Osterhout. He is preceded in death by his father, Phillip Wayne Swihart Jr.; cousins, Justin and Mike; and Mamma Angie.
