Phyllis M. Hatt's Obituary
Age 96, of Cranberry Lake, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Hatt in 2004; son-in-law, Marvin Arnold in 2014; brothers, Harry and Floyd Aiken; brothers-in-law, George Elliott, Carleton Watts and Millard ""Bud"" Matteson. Phyllis is survived by her beloved children, Suzett Arnold, Roy Lee (Maria) Hatt and Lyle (Terri) Hatt, all of Cranberry Lake; 14 grandchildren; many great and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilma Elliott, Marjorie Watts and Florence Matteson; sisters-in-law, June A. and June P. Aiken; many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was a regular churchgoer of different denominations, loved playing cards and flowers. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, May 10th at 11:00 am with Reverend John Reed and Reverend Kenneth Bass officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 8 pm. For those who wish, contributions in memory of Phyllis may be directed to American Cancer Society.
