Phyllis J Kurtz's Obituary
Kurtz, Phyllis J. Age 84, of Liberty Township, passed away at the Allegiance Hospice Home April 10, 2013. She is survived by eight children, Jean Archer, Sue Johnston, Junior (Arlene) Kurtz, Charles ""Chuck"" Kurtz, Dawn (Jack) Dean, Deb (John) Mathis, Dennis (Cindy) Kurtz and Claudia Richards; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Joyce Worthington and brother, James (Janet) Martenies; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carleton 'Whistle' Kurtz; her companion of 18 years, Fred Kurtz; two sons, Jeff and David Kurtz; her parents, George and Viola Martenies; two brothers, Donald and Raymond Martenies and grandson, Scott Patrick. Services will be held at the funeral home Monday, April 15, 2013 at 11 am with Pastor Jerry Bailey officiating. Interment Camden Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 5-8 pm. The family gives their sincerest thanks for the care and support offered by the Allegiance Hospice Home and direct any memorial contributions to them.
