Phyllis P. Palen's Obituary
Age 85, of Napoleon Township, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Legacy Assisted Living Center under the care of her family and the Legacy staff. She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Donaldson, Patricia (Tom) Finco and Carol (Dennis) Carrier, seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Dolores (Richard) Castle; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milo ""Mike"" Palen; parents, William and Anna Punschke and siblings, William Punschke Jr and Margaret Treciak. Phyllis was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She retired as a Vice-President of American 1 Credit Union. Mrs. Palen has been cremated. A Memorial Service honoring her life will be held at the funeral home Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11 am. Visitation will be from 10 am until service time. For those who wish, contributions in Phyllis' memory to the Cascades Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
