Phyllis Nichols Young's Obituary
Phyllis Nichols Young, 76, passed away peacefully at her home on September 8, 2024. Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant View Cemetery, 2169 OH-67 in Sycamore, Ohio, which is open to friends and family.
She was born on July 29, 1948, in Russellville Kentucky to William and Eunice (Hibdon) Nichols. Phyllis married the love of her life, Mark Young, in July of 1967, in Russellville, Kentucky. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved gardening, shopping and taking care of her home. But most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Phyllis spent many years as a realtor and was affiliated with different churches, including Jackson Free Methodist.
Phyllis will be missed by her children; Tracie Meadows, Cynthia (Charles) Dabaghian, Siblings; William (Pam) Nichols, Toby (Debbie) Nichols; grandchildren, Alex (Shane) Jones, Dani (Jarod) Jones, Victoria (Scott) Hendricks, Nicholas (Natalie) Resor, JT Resor, Elizabeth Dabaghian and Chaz Dabaghian; great grandchildren, Carolyn Sue Jones, Carsyn Jones, Dallas Jones and Justin Hendricks. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Eunice Nichols and her husband Mark Young.
