Preston Karl Wetzel Jr.'s Obituary
Age 44, of Jackson, passed away at home January 18, 2020. He is survived by two children; Mason Gillespie and Mia Wetzel, his mother; Dovie R. Newsome, brother and sister-in-law; Bradley and Kendra Wetzel, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; Preston K. Wetzel Sr. Preston was a concrete finisher/mason with several area contractors and enjoyed woodworking. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the funeral home Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11 am with Pastor Codrigus Alexander from the JaxNaz Church officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening, 6-8 pm. A luncheon will follow the services Saturday at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #612 (301 Detroit Street, Jackson). Contributions in his memory are directed to his family to help defray final expenses.
