Ralph Edward Ray's Obituary
Age 66, of Jackson, passed away at home June 26, 2018 under the loving care of his family and Heartland Hospice. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nyann in 2016; parents, Walker and Ada Ray; brothers, Jackie Ray and Kenneth Ray; and sister, Margaret Vining. Ralph is survived by two children, Scott (Susan) Ray and Marlene (Matthew) Steen; two grandchildren, Brent and Missy Ousley; five siblings, Garland (Dorothy) Ray, Jimmy (Paula) Ray, Sr., Joan (Bob) Weeder, Louise (Woody, deceased) Tripp and Linda (Dan) Duval; brothers-in-law, Ron (Marlene, deceased) Manning and Bud (Dee) Vining; many nieces and nephews. Ralph enjoyed golfing, bowling, camping and time spent with his family. He was a retiree of Michigan Seat (Milsco). Services to honor his life will be held at the funeral home on Friday June 29, 2018 at 11 am with Rev. Larry Rubingh officiating. Interment will follow at Maxon Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. For those who wish, contributions in Ralph's memory to Heartland Hospice of Mason, 865 S. Cedar St., Mason MI 48854. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Ron Manning for his hospitality and compassion to Ralph over the years.
