I wrote a poem I'd like to share. I got a call the other day, Someone dear had passed away. I thought, Dear Lord this can not be, just the other day he was here with me. God must have needed his trusted friend,For him to have had such a sudden end.But it's hard to say goodbye, when someone you love suddenly dies.I'll miss his smile, his warm embrace, the twinkle in his eyes, the mischief in his face, the crazy stories of his younger days, his knowing words, and loving ways. It's just so hard to say goodbye, when someone you love suddenly dies. He was a Father, a Husband, an Uncle, a Papa, a Friend.It wasn't time for his life to end.But time goes on so this I'll pray,That I'll see you again in heaven someday.
