Regina Mae Gray's Obituary
Regina Mae Gray, 69, of Cement City, Michigan passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Henry Ford Hospice Home, Jackson. Gina’s family and friends will gather Monday, September 29, 2025 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel. Burial of ashes to be determined at a later date.
She was born on October 21, 1955, in Northville, Michigan to Robert and Caroline (LaDoux) Henson. Gina married the love of her life, Richard Gray, Jr., on September 8, 1972 in Plymouth, Michigan. They had 53 wonderful years together until her passing. She will be remembered for her always present smile. Gina was a Plymouth High School graduate, class of 1974. She was also the co-owner of Macon Grocery for 35 years. During that time, she sold many of her crafts, gift baskets, wreaths by Gina Gray Designs. Gina was a very strong, intelligent woman that never met a stranger and had a terrific sense of humor. She was a hard worker, that was very proud of her two children and their accomplishments, and her Native American heritage. Her motto was: Live, Love, Laugh. Gina will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Gina is survived by her loving husband, Richard; her children, Jason (Toni) Gray and Jaime (Frederic) Chaignat; one grandchild, Zaori Chaignat; and a few nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Caroline and a sister, Valerie Francis.
