Renita Schryer

Age 73, of Jackson, entered into heaven in the early hours of Friday, April 29, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital. Renita was born in Detroit, Michigan, on June 4, 1948, the daughter of Raymond and Rosemary (Smith) Clark who preceded her in death. She grew up in Lincoln Park where she met the love of her life, Michael "Mick" Schryer. Renita is survived by her beloved family, her husband of 53 years, Mick Schryer; three daughters, Pattie (Mark) Huff, Jennie Stucky, and Beckie (Chad) Parrow; seven adored grandchildren, Rennie and Abbie Huff, Michaela and Mackenzie Stucky; Drew, Alex and Aaron Parrow; and dear great-granddaughter, Zoei. She is also survived by her brothers, Ray (Mary Ann) Clark and Richard (Arlene) Clark; brothers-in-law, Jim (Alice) Schryer, David (Lisa) Schryer, Tom (Cheryl) Schryer, Joe Schryer and Don Schryer; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Renita earned her bachelor's degree in education from Eastern Michigan University but went on to have a career as medical office manager at Hematology Oncology Associates of Southern Michigan, a practice started by her brother Ray. She loved attending any of her daughter's or grandkid's events and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed knitting, going to Disney, cruising and travel. Renita had an unwavering faith in her God, her church and her family. She made a positive impact of the lives of many through her work, ministries, and friendships. She is dearly missed. Renita was a member of Skiff Lake Bible Church, 8277 S. Jackson Road (corner of Jefferson Road), Clarklake, MI 49234 where a funeral service to honor her life will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 am. Pastor Jason Klepal and Reverend Dr. H. Michael Bracy will officiate. A luncheon will immediately follow the services and then interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Napoleon. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 4 pm to 8 pm and again on Friday beginning at 10 am.
