Richard E Brown's Obituary
Age 82, of Jackson, passed away at Allegiance Health April 17, 2015. He is survived by his son, Mark (Ann) Brown; grandson, Aaron Brown; sister, Eunice Zakrzewski; sixteen nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley (maiden-Kelley); three brothers, Harold 'Brownie', William and Dale Brown; parents Lyle and Zella (maiden-Lyon) Brown. Richard served the nation in the US Army during the Korean War, was an auto painter at Lefere Ford for many years, was a longtime cook at the YMCA Storer Camp in Napoleon and enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and entertaining his friends. A Celebration of his life will be held at the American Legion Rose City Post (1190 Falahee Road) Saturday, May 2, 2015 from Noon to 4 pm with services at 12:30 pm, with Rev. John Morris officiating. Military honors will be offered Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #109. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Jackson County Medical Care Facility Patient Activity Fund and the family wishes to thank the staff for their wonderful care of our loved one.
