Richard Eugene Smith's Obituary
Smith, Richard Eugene, age 67, of Dearborn, formerly of Jackson, passed away at Oakwood Hospital-Dearborn August 6, 2014. He is survived by two children, Laura (Scott) Nichols and Aaron (Christine) Smith, special friend Janice Lewis, two grandchildren, Joshua and Ashley Nichols, two sisters, Jan Anderson and Pamela (Bill) Fairbanks, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda and his parents, M. Eugene and A. Jean (maiden-Younkin) Smith. Richard was an Independent Contractor in the Jackson and Dearborn area for many years and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Cremation has taken place and no public services will be held. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Susan Komen for the Cure, PO Box 650309, Dallas, Texas 75265-0309.
