Rick Duane O’Brien, Age 65, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023. Rick’s family and friends will gather at a later date and time.
He was born on September 16, 1957, in Jackson, Michigan to Ronald and Bonnie (Munro) O’Brien. Rick married the love of his life, Sue, on June 20, 1981, in Clark Lake, Michigan. He will be remembered as a wonderful father and an awesome “Gramps”! Rick loved to work in his yard and in his garden. He also loved to cook and listen to music. However, Rick’s most favorite pastime was being with his family and showing off his heart of gold. Rick would do most anything for his family.
Rick will be missed by his beloved wife, Sue, his mother, Bonnie, his daughter Ashley (Kyle) Beyer, and his grandsons Chase and Gabe Beyer, sister Sandy (Chris) Niemi, Niece’s Steffanie Niemi, Katie (Chris) Thomas, Kristen (Kevin) Marshall, Nicole Pitcher and Jessica (Eric) Springmann and Nephew, Niklas Niemi. He is preceded in death by his father and sister, Pamela Weinhagen
