Robert A. Babcock's Obituary
Age 76, of Jackson, passed away at the Allegiance Hospice Home on Monday, October 19, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwaine and Viola (Snow) Babcock. Robert is survived by four sons, Robert, Timothy, James (Kim) and Paul Babcock; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel (Judy) and Gary (Sherry) Babcock; nieces and nephews. Bob was a retiree of Wyman-Gordon after nearly 30 years of service; he was a former volunteer fireman with the Hanover Township Fire Department and he enjoyed being a mechanic, working on cars and sandrails as well as working on racing cars at Butler Speedway. He was a member and deacon at the House of Prayer Pentecostal Church in Jackson. Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 11:00 am with Pastor Vince Bridge officiating. Interment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 am until service time.
