Robert Lee Boobyer's Obituary
Age 74, of Michigan Center, passed away peacefully at his home April 23, 2020. He is survived by his sister; Lynda Rupert, two nieces; Robin Haddix and Denise Kelling, three great-nieces; Ashley, Kelsey and Caitlyn, one great-nephew; Alex. He was preceded in death by his sister; Carol Jane Boobyer, brother; Frederick Ross Boobyer and has parents; Harry Frederick and Hazel Vivian (maiden-Leinaar) Boobyer. He was a gifted machinist, retired from the W.A. Thomas Machine Shop in Chelsea and had worked at Jackson Gear earlier in his career. He had a love for the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Cremation has taken place. A graveside Memorial Service to honor his life will be held at Woodland Cemetery on Francis Street. Services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm and the cemetery requires that masks be worn by attendees and your cooperation is appreciated.
