Robert "Rob" C. Dunn's Obituary
Robert Carter Dunn, 63, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at his home in Manchester. He was born on November 2, 1956, in Welch, West Virginia to Jerry and Nina (Parson) Dunn. Rob graduated from Brighton High School in 1979. Rob worked for Martinrea in Manchester for the last 29 years, where he developed numerous friends and great friendships. Rob enjoyed working with his friends and taking many trips to different casinos.
Robert will be missed by his son, Robert D. Watkins, of Jackson, Michigan; his siblings, Janie (Jim) Andreoli, John (Karen) Dunn, Sherry (Dave) Spaw, Patricia (Steve) Connolly, Karen (Val) Martin; an adopted-daughter, Kelli Watkins; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Dunn.
Robert’s family and friends will gather Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Eineder Funeral Homes - Manchester Chapel, from 5PM-8PM. His service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 3:00PM at the Funeral Home, gathering to begin at 2:00PM. Pastor Clive Heyd of the Federated Church of Grass Lake to officiate. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Red Cross. The Governor’s mandates will be observed and mask will be required at the funeral home.
